On April 25th & 26th 2018, the 2nd edition of the German speaking Leading Minds Seminar was held in Basel. Co-hosted with Pharmalogisticspartner and Sonoco ThermoSafe.

Risk prevention in the Pharma Supply Cool Chain

A practice-oriented seminar for integrative solutions from the fields of packaging, transport and monitoring

The seminar started with an exclusive guided tour through the Cargo Terminal of the Basel Euro Airport. A very rare moment for the 50 participants, as normally the qualified personnel only are permitted to enter this area.

Further highlights from the seminar day one was a live demo of Sonoco ThermoSafe's PharmaPort 360 temperature controlled bulk shipping container with proprietary hybrid technology.Also, people enjoyed the Thermal Mapping Workshop, held by certified ELPRO GxP-Experts; following the educational part of the first planning steps for a room mapping. The participants had the chance to build their own mapping of the seminar room, acting as a model example of pharmaceutical storage. Evaluation and analysis of the over night collected data was part of the seminar day two.

In addition to practice-oriented presentations and Live Demos, there was time for essential knowledge sharing and networking.
